This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated coach to join the official charity of Salford City Football Club, supporting players’ development and creating welcoming, inclusive environments where participants can build confidence and enjoy the game.
About the role
Working alongside our Women & Girls Development Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering and developing the Foundation’s women and girls programmes.
A particular focus will be the day-to-day delivery and development of our Girls Emerging Talent Centre (ETC), helping players progress and fulfil their potential. The role will also support KeepHers, girls-only Premier League Kicks, women’s walking football and other participation initiatives.
Alongside delivering engaging football sessions, you will build relationships with participants, parents, carers and partners, support programme administration and monitoring, and contribute ideas to expand opportunities for women and girls.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with experience of coaching within women and girls’ football, a strong understanding of player development and the female football pathway, and a commitment to overcoming barriers to participation.
Applicants must hold a minimum UEFA C qualification and a driving licence, with the flexibility to deliver regular evening sessions and occasional weekend activity.
Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, alongside a commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion. Experience within an Emerging Talent Centre or similar talent development environment, and a UEFA B qualification, would be advantageous.

- Salary: £25,000–£28,000 per year
