The Department
Our Technology team plays a vital role in supporting every area of the Club, providing the systems, infrastructure and innovation that help drive performance on and off the pitch. From supporting matchday operations and elite sporting environments to enhancing the experiences of supporters, partners and colleagues, the team delivers reliable, secure and forward-thinking technology solutions across the Club.
As the Club continues to grow and invest in its digital capabilities, we are looking to expand our Technology team with a number of exciting opportunities across different specialisms. This is a unique chance to play a key role in shaping the future of technology at the Club.
The Role
As Delivery Manager / Business Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering technology and business change across the Club, working with stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges and opportunities and work with third party suppliers to translate these into clear requirements and practical solutions. You will lead initiatives from initial discovery and process mapping through to design, build, testing, launch and early-life support, ensuring projects deliver against agreed objectives.
Working across a range of business applications and digital initiatives, you will coordinate internal teams, stakeholders and external suppliers, managing delivery plans, priorities, risks, dependencies and budgets. You will help simplify processes, improve experiences for fans and employees, and ensure solutions are effectively integrated, tested and ready for ongoing operation.
You will also act as a key link between business and technology teams, providing clear progress updates, managing expectations and supporting effective decision-making throughout delivery. With a focus on successful adoption and continuous improvement, you will coordinate testing, training, launch readiness and handover, while capturing lessons and opportunities to improve future projects.
For further information about the Role, please see the Role Profile.
The Person
You will have experience delivering technology implementations and improvements, with strong business analysis skills across requirements gathering, process mapping, workshop facilitation and defining acceptance criteria. You will be confident managing delivery plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and changing priorities, while coordinating internal teams and third-party suppliers to keep projects on track.
You will have a good understanding of application integrations, data flows and identity services, enabling you to work effectively with technical specialists throughout delivery. Experience coordinating testing, UAT, defect resolution, go-live and operational handover will also be important, alongside confidence in using tools such as Jira to plan, track and report on delivery.
Highly organised and solutions-focused, you will be an effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to different audiences. You will take a practical, proactive approach to problem-solving and be comfortable managing multiple initiatives and competing priorities.
