JOB TITLE First Team Analyst Placement Student (Part -time)
REPORTING TO First Team Analyst
HOURS Part -time - hours to be agreed but may include evenings and weekends.
JOB DESCRIPTION Notts County FC are looking for two passionate and committed Student Sports Analysts to join the first team on a year -long placement.
DATES August 2026 – May 2027 LENGTH OF PLACEMENT 12 months

Qualifications • Working towards an Undergraduate or
Postgraduate degree in Sport and Exercise
Science or Similar
Experience • Experience working within a team environment.
- Experience working in a Sporting environment.
- Experience using performance analysis software
- Experience of filming games wide angle • Experience working within elite sport.
Skills
- Competent ability using an apple mac and its packages, such as Keynote.
- Competent ability using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- In-depth tactical knowledge of football
- Knowledge of filming equipment for the use of a GoPro, Drone, and Hi Pod camera set up.
- Game footage coding experience
- In-depth knowledge of goalkeeping
Personal qualities • Highly motivated and willing to learn from members of a multidisciplinary team.
- Committed to working the hours in line with an elite sporting environment.
- Good listener.
- Proactive and positive approach to learning. • Hold a full current up to date driving license.

Other • Must satisfy relevant pre-employment checks including two current references relevant to the position and Enhanced DBS checks.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations for training sessions and potential opportunities to attend away games
