Safety Steward and Stretcher Bearers

SAFETY STEWARDS & STRETCHER BEARERS
The Club is currently seeking experienced Safety Stewards and stretcher bearers to work on matchdays/major events on a casual basis at The Cherry Red Records Stadium, Plough Lane.
You will operate as an ambassador for the Club, upholding our values and providing excellent service in order to enhance the fan and customer experience. Safety procedures must be upheld at all times.
All candidates will be required to have NVQ2 in Spectator Safety. Candidates must be friendly and pro-active, ensuring all our fans have the best experience when they visit.
Previous experience of stewarding at events is necessary.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all safety checks are carried out in the appropriate areas in a timely manner.
- Attending safety briefings with your relevant supervisor.
- To escalate any concerns or match day queries immediately to the control team or your supervisor.
- Follow and uphold action and communication of the emergency policies and procedures. The following qualities and attributes are essential:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse with the wider audience.
- Flexible attitude to the working hours/days and tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.
- Co-operative and resourceful
- Maintain and uphold the Club’s values.
- Our expectation is that stewards will be smart in their dress.
