Purpose
To provide excellent customer service by selling 50/50 tickets to fans during home matches at Rotherham United Football Club. The role involves being a visible, approachable presence for supporters, assisting with enquiries, and ensuring a positive match day experience through professional conduct and coordination with other match day teams.
Responsibilities
- Sell 50/50 tickets to fans on match days.
- Be a visible and approachable point of support and information for all visitors.
- Observe and engage with fans, ensuring they are okay and feel welcome.
- Resolve or escalate issues or complaints in line with Club policies and procedures.
- Maintain high match day service standards in your area.
- Provide post-match feedback on any issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Follow all Health and Safety and Safeguarding procedures.
Person Specification
Essential Attributes:
- Professional, polite, and positive attitude.
- Confident and outgoing personality.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Good self-presentation.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Can stay calm and composed when dealing with emotional, difficult, or distressed individuals.
Other Requirements:
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
- Tact, courtesy, and diplomacy in public-facing situations.
Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will need to be over 18 years old.
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 0.5 per week
