Finance Assistant

Stevenage Football Club is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Finance Assistant to join our team at The SPORTA Arena.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and performing ad hoc tasks for the CFO as and when required, the Finance Assistant will be a key team player in the Club’s future, helping turn strong day-to-day financial management into sustainable success.
Candidates need to have a good foundation of accountancy knowledge and would ideally be a minimum of part qualified, as well as being conscientious, hardworking and keen to develop.
Good communication skills at all levels and an ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and appreciation of working to deadlines is important.
